ELO is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Client Accounting Services (CAS) Associate to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with a variety of clients from small businesses and agricultural operations to schools and rural water systems providing financial reporting, accounting support, and advisory insight that helps them thrive.

Key Responsibilities :
Software Support
Import and complete data entries into client accounting systems, including QuickBooks Online (QBO), desktop versions, and Xero.
Research, train, and troubleshoot client issues in QBO and QuickBooks software.
Tax Preparation Support
Prepare and assist accountants with year-end accounting reports.
Record client 1099 information, issue 1099s to client vendors, and file documentation with the IRS.
Calculate or assist clients with sales, use, and excise tax filings.
Payroll & Controller Support
Review and enter client timesheets into payroll systems.
Calculate client payroll, monitor paid time off (PTO) balances, manage payroll deductions, and process federal tax deposits in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Complete and file quarterly and annual payroll tax forms, including Forms 941, 940, 943, SUTA, W-2, and W-3.
Reconcile and monitor the accuracy of various balance sheet accounts.
Manage and reconcile accounts receivable invoices and record payments.
Maintain a comprehensive accounts payable system by entering, coding, and processing vendor invoices.
Communicate with vendors regarding account balances and gather 1099 vendor information as needed.
Qualifications :
1-3 years of experience in a related position or equivalent combination of education & experience.
Proficient in bookkeeping, accounting work, and payroll processing.
Highly proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
Knowledge and experience using QuickBooks and / or QuickBooks Online and Xero.
Maintain all continuing education requirements for the position, including current software versions.
Possess a valid drivers license and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
