Job Title : Assistant Director of Nursing Services & Infection Preventionist (ADON / IP)

Location : Saginaw, MI area

Job Type : Full-Time

Overview : We’re seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and Infection Preventionist (IP) . This key leadership role supports the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing clinical operations and managing the infection control program to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise and support nursing staff; foster a professional, compassionate care environment

Oversee resident assessments, care plans, and admission / discharge planning

Lead the infection prevention program (reporting, surveillance, training, vaccination clinics)

Develop and enforce clinical and infection control policies

Participate in QAPI, staff education, audits, and compliance initiatives

Serve as a liaison for residents, families, regulatory agencies, and staff

Qualifications :

Current RN license (state-required)

Infection Prevention certification or experience preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills

Knowledge of regulatory standards and infection control best practices
