A reputable Healthcare organization in southern Rhode Island is seeking a Medical Director for its Division of Hematology and Oncology. The Medical Director is responsible for the overall quality and patient experience of all patients cared for within the department.

About the opportunity :

• The Medical Director will work in partnership with the system CMO to recruit and retain exceptional quality provider talent for the department
• The Medical Director will collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team and Department Leadership to set strategic goals, establish operating and capital budgets, and drive continuous process improvement for the Department
• A CoC-accredited Cancer Center and operates a radiation oncology program on-site
• Clinical and administrative duties
• The organization is a leader in medical quality, service, and innovation
• Worksite wellness program was recently recognized nationally as one of the top fifty such programs
• Call is every 12 weeks
