POSITION OVERVIEW
Contract Specialist Ill
Brief Position Summary
Performs highly complex (senior-level) procurement and contracting work. Responsibilities include purchasing commodities, equipment, and services; planning, organizing, coordinating, and preparing Statements of Work (SOW) and specifications; preparing procurement and contract documents; maintaining contract records of items purchased, received, prepared, and issued. Reports to the Procurement & Contracts Services (P&CS) Team Lead. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Work Hours
Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Contract Specialist IV
Brief Position Summary
Performs advanced (senior-level) procurement and contracting work. Responsibilities are similar to Contract Specialist III with scope and complexity at a higher level. Reports to the P&CS Manager and works under minimal supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Contract Specialist III
EDUCATION : Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university is required (substitution allowed).
EXPERIENCE : Three (3) years of procurement experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience developing spreadsheets with Excel and Access.
SUBSTITUTION : Additional years of experience may substitute for education.
REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE :
Contract Specialist IV
