Field Service Technician – Diversified Laboratory Repair, Benicia, CA
Diversified Laboratory Repair is part of Trane Technologies. We are a leader in laboratory equipment service, creating innovative life science solutions for laboratories and research facilities. This position is onsite in Benicia, CA and surrounding areas, with most workdays dispatched from home.
What You Will Do
- Hands-on expertise in refrigeration and electronics.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues; diagnose and repair equipment.
- Proficient with testing equipment and reading wiring diagrams.
- Understand mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Maintain accurate records with strong organizational skills.
- Adhere to safety protocols.
- Available to work occasional overtime and rotate on-call duties.

Refrigeration training and 2+ years of hands-on experience.Valid driver's license with a clean record.Universal EPA Certification preferred.Electrical and control troubleshooting experience.Willingness to pass a government background check.Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.High School Diploma or equivalent; Trade School Certificate or Military / Formal Training or equivalent experience.Additional Requirements
Must be able to operate a vehicle safely and legally with a seat belt.Must wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection, harness and safety boots as required.Physically capable of bending, twisting, squatting, reaching overhead; lift up to 40 lbs regularly and more occasionally.Position may involve variable temperatures, moving parts, heights, electrical hazards, and noisy equipment.Safety note : This role has been designated as Safety Sensitive.
Compensation
Base Pay Range : $30-60 / hr depending on skills / experience. This range reflects US national averages; actual pay may vary by seniority and location.
