A large, prestigious co-educational day school requires a dynamic Economics and Business Teacher to capitalize on Guernsey's strong financial sector. The role demands an experienced specialist capable of driving outstanding results at A-Level and preparing students for competitive UK university courses in finance, management, and economics.

Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

  • Market Analyst : Instructing Economics and Business Studies across Key Stages 4 (iGCSE) and 5 (A-Level).
  • Financial Literacy Mentor : Driving high attainment by guiding students through complex theory and linking content directly to the island's unique economic context.
  • Academic Coach : Contributing to the Sixth Form life through mentoring and supporting extended project qualifications.

  • Contract : Offered on a Full-Time, Permanent basis.
  • Essential Requirements : Relevant Degree in Economics or Business and QTS or equivalent experience. Extensive experience teaching KS5 is essential.
