Job description

Position Overview :

  • As the Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will be focusing on generating new business opportunities for the company by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers.
  • You will be responsible for creating and managing leads through the sales pipeline.
  • You’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, helping them understand how we can best provide for their businesses.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

  • No Duties / Responsibilities : Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company; Generating sales leads by calling potential customers from lists provided by our online marketing, research, call lists; Represent the company’s products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs; Contact and qualify potential customers; Set appointments and follow up on leads; Track progress towards meeting sales goals; Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets; Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities; Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments; Attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads; Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management; Working closely with marketing and account executive teams to align messaging and target new business opportunities; Achieving weekly / monthly targets as set out by the business; Other duties may be assigned as needed by management.
  • Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills; Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients; Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies; Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills; Time management and organizational skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Flexibility and adaptability to change; A desire to learn and grow in the sales field.
  • Education and Experience :

  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software; Prior experience in a similar role with a solid track record of sales in outbound calling and emailing; Experience as a sales development representative, with a track record of achieving sales quotas; A diploma / degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment :

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard; Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work; Light to moderate lifting may be required; Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate; Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic); Ability to work in a confined area; Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period; Some travel may be required.
  • Salary Range :
