When will you work?
- This is a part time position working up to 24 hours a week. Our pharmacy in Bakersfield, CA is open 8 : 15am-5 : 15pm, Monday - Friday.
What you'll do :
Oversee compounding of preparations, filling and labeling of prescriptions and prepackaging of bulk medicationsCommunicate with providers for the purpose of receiving new prescription orders, clarification of prescriptions or refill authorizations, perform final check on prescriptions, counsel patients and answer questions from patients and providers, and oversee compoundingConsistently meet standards for accuracy, pharmaceutical elegance and potencyAdhere to USP and guidelines and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned or requested by management, pharmacist in charge or shift leaderWho you are :
Understand USP 795, USP 797, USP 800, State Board of Pharmacy regulations, Section 503A of the Federal FD&CPossess excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skillsSolid interpersonal skills including the ability to remain calm, professional, diplomatic, and positiveAbility to think and act independently while knowing when to include others in a decision making processHave strong organization and work prioritization skills, in a dynamic, fast paced and timeline driven environment with shifting prioritiesAnalytical abilities are strong and coupled with creative problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeWhat you've done :
Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm. D.)Kept current License to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of California.3-5 years of experience working in a regulated environment or equivalent experience requiredAbout Us
