Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Sector has an opening for a Staff Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals, and the position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

• This position is contingent upon capturing program award(s) along with acquiring and maintaining customer and / or business funding. Furthermore, this position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance of the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing system security controls for advanced space systems. This requires high level enterprise-wide knowledge of capabilities, resources, supply chains and customers and third-party operations required to put together a plan to protect the program. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing program protection implementation plans and conducting security review groups to govern the secure execution of a program. This also involves performing criticality assessments on the architecture in support of supply chain risk management assessments.

Primary Level Salary Range : $188,200.00 - $282,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
