The Secondary English Teacher will inspire students to develop a strong command of the English language, critical thinking, and a love for literature. This educator will teach English Language and Literature across various grade levels in Secondary, following the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework and the school’s academic standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons aligned with IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) objectives.
• Foster students’ analytical, interpretive, and written communication skills through diverse literary texts and genres.
• Plan, assess, and report on students’ progress in accordance with school and IB policies.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices to enhance learning experiences.
• Contribute to curriculum development, vertical alignment, and interdisciplinary projects.
• Maintain a supportive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and well-being.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support learning and development.
• Participate in school events, parent meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities.
• Uphold the school’s mission, values, and commitment to excellence in education.
