Consolidated Medical Travel is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Washington, District of Columbia.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : PACU - Post Anesthesia Care
  • Discipline : RN
  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, days
  • Employment Type : Travel

Requirements

  • Experience :

    • Recent PACU & Pre-op experience – Required

  • Minimum 2 years ICU experience – Required
  • Experience must be in a Level 1 trauma center (no surgicenter-only candidates)
  • Skills :

    • Must be able to work independently and think critically

  • Able to monitor post-op recovery and manage anesthesia side effects
  • Strong EMR / charting and patient education skills
  • Certifications (All Required) :

    • BLS (AHA)

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • Preferred : CPAN, TNCC, CCRN
  • Education :

    • RN License for Washington, DC – Required

  • Graduate of accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
  • BSN – Highly Desired
