JOB SUMMARY
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides each of their assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services following the current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care and assisted living facilities. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) ensures that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.
Full-Time | Day Shift
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Receive and report resident status at the beginning and end of each shift and as neededProvide personal care to residents per their individualized plan of careDocument all pertinent information regarding care as assignedReport all changes in residents’ conditions to the Nursing Supervisor as soon as practicalPrepare residents for meals and assist to and from the dining areasRecord residents’ fluid / food intakeAssist residents with toilet, dental, hair, and bath careKeep residents dry and cleanMake room checks and verify resident locationKeep resident’s rooms neat and cleanAssist residents with dressing / undressing as necessaryPrepare residents for activity and social events (church, services, parties, visitors, etc.)Transport residents to / from appointments, activity and social programs, etcAssist residents to walk with or without self-help devices as instructedPerform vital signs, B / Ps, weights and other trained procedures as directed by managementComplete prevention and restorative care that includes but not limited to PROM, AROM, ambulation, transferring, bathing, grooming, and all other ADL careAssist in turning, positioning, and repositioning of residentsDemonstrate a passion for caring as evidenced by interaction with co-workers, residents, families, and visitorsMaintain and support a culture of compliance, ethics and integrityMaintain confidentiality and rights of resident, family, employee, and facility information in compliance with PHI HIPAA policies and applicable regulationsMaintain safe work environment and exhibits safe work practicesPerform all other duties as assignedJOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High School Diploma or GEDGraduate of a State-approved CNA programCPR Certification within 30 days of hire.Certification
Current CNA license in the State of WyomingExperience
