Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

6am-2pm

Full-Time

As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents, contributing to a nurturing and supportive environment.

  • Medication Administration :
  • Accurately administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and individual care plans, ensuring proper dosage and timing.
  • Documentation :
  • Maintain meticulous records of medication administration, observing and reporting any changes in patients' conditions to appropriate healthcare staff.
  • Collaboration :
  • Work closely with registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to residents.
  • Resident Support :
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Compliance :
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures related to medication administration and resident care.
  • Education :
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to maintain certification and enhance skills.
  • Qualifications :
  • Current and valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with residents and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
