Senior Environmental Specialist

A company is looking for a Senior Environmental Specialist to support environmental compliance and sustainability objectives for the BNATCS Program.

Key Responsibilities

Lead environmental compliance activities and permitting processes, ensuring adherence to FAA and regulatory standards

Conduct audits and inspections to verify environmental performance and maintain updated environmental plans

Provide technical support and develop environmental reports, interfacing with regulatory agencies and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred) with 8+ years of experience or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree

Experience achieving NEPA permit approvals under expedited timelines

Knowledge of FAA environmental requirements and applicable EPA and state regulations

Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems

Professional certifications such as CIH, REM, or PE (Environmental) preferred
