A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Job Details : - Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM - 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission) - 13-week assignment length - Weekend requirements as needed by facility / every other weekend - No call requirements - Patient ratios 1 : 6-7 on night shift (ratios not guaranteed) - May float to other units based on staffing needs - Work on 15-bed inpatient medical surgical unit (15 additional beds under construction) - 1 year medical surgical inpatient experience required - Current RN license (Missouri eligible or currently licensed in Missouri) - Required certifications : BLS from AHA - Preferred certifications : ACLS from AHA - Equipment used : Nova Meters, Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo pumps, SCD machines - Electronic medical record system : EPIC - Black scrubs required, no open-toed shoes - Care for medical / surgical patients including post-trauma, surgical, and medical comorbidities - Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation - Physical demands include standing / walking most of shift, bending, stooping, lifting patients with assistance - Flu vaccination required November 1 - April 1 Facility : This healthcare facility has been serving the South County area for over 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
