The Service Technician I is responsible for loading and / or unloading drums and containers from trucks and processing and / or storing hazardous waste materials. Essential functions and requirements include :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience : Previous experience operating a fork truck (preferred). HAZWOPER certificate or previous fire-fighting experience (preferred).

Competencies : Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, background check and drug screen. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator. Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Ability to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Ability to participate in Emergency Response and Fire Brigade. Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role.
