Overview

We are seeking a driven and forward-thinking Technical Integration Manager to lead our Systems Engineering and Mission Integration teams on behalf of Barrios across a diversified aerospace portfolio. As a well-established company with a strong foothold in the government sector, we are now expanding into commercial aerospace and broader defense markets. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical foundation and strategic direction for current and future programs.

The ideal candidate combines engineering and integration expertise with strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset. You will be responsible for building internal engineering capabilities and supporting the expansion of the company's business portfolio through technical influence and innovation.

Responsibilities

The Technical Integration Manager will :

Manage a multidisciplinary team of systems engineers responsible for the full product lifecycle : concept development, architecture definition, requirements management, integration, verification, and validation

• Oversee and coordinate a team comprising mission requirement engineers, resource managers, and science / mission operations personnel to ensure seamless alignment and execution of mission objectives
• Develop and lead initiatives to institutionalize best practices across government, commercial, and defense lines of business
• Standardize processes, tools, and workflows to improve productivity and ensure consistency across programs
• Coach and mentor team members, and lead initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top technical talent
• Serve as a key voice in shaping the organization as it evolves to meet the demands of a more diversified portfolio
• Partner with business development, capture, and program teams to define technically sound, competitive solutions for both government and commercial opportunities
• Identify emerging technologies and process innovations to position the company for success in new and adjacent markets
• Help shape and prioritize investments to enable efficient scaling as the company expands into new sectors
