Mechanical Maintenance Technician

• Job Duties
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Routine lubrication of equipment
• Ordering maintenance supplies / parts
• Following preventative maintenance program for equipment & facility
• Assisting with equipment installations
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and facility
• Operation of forklift , overhead cranes, and personal lifts as well as daily inspections
• Document all maintenance work performed in our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Assuring safety and all regulatory requirements
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Working with CNC Controls / PLC
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems
• Work with multi-meter and perform checks on AC / DC electricity up to 500 volts
• Education

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Qualifications

At least 1-2 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is a significant plus.
• Experience with a CMMS is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Pay : $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Experience :

• Mechanical troubleshooting : 3 years (Preferred)
• Computer skills : 3 years (Required)
