Green Waste Recycle Yard in Richmond, CA is looking for a reliable, hard-working Yard Laborer to join our team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in getting things done, works efficiently, and can stay focused on both fast-paced and repetitive tasks. The right person will be dependable, self-motivated, and proactive — finishing one job and immediately looking for the next.

Responsibilities
Assist with yard operations , including material processing, cleanup, and organizationWork with equipment operators to ensure grinding machinery runs safely and efficientlyHelp with routine maintenance such as oiling, greasing, and cleaning machinesAssist with sawmill operations when needed — lumber handling, stacking, and basic power-tool work (training provided)Stay attentive and alert during monitoring tasks — ABSOLUTELY NO CELL PHONE USE WHILE ON DUTYOccasionally fill in at the front gate assisting customers and handling transactionsSafely lift and move materials up to 50 lbsWork outdoors in all weather conditionsQualifications
Strong work ethic and ability to stay on taskMechanically inclined or willing to learn equipment maintenancePhysically able to stand for up to 8 hours per day. Other physical requirements include walking, lifting to 50 pounds, and sanding lumber, which is often done in a bent positionMust live within a 40-minute commute of Richmond, CAReliable transportation and consistent attendance requiredPreferred but not required :
Experience in a yard, landscaping, construction, or equipment environmentForklift experience is a plusBilingual English / Spanish a plusCompensation & Benefits
