Phlebotomist Position

Responsibilities :

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and restock supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team leads for procurement of department supplies.
• Perform essential phlebotomy duties, including various specimen collections.
• Prepare specimens for outside lab referrals and manage related paperwork.
• Meet all specimen requirements at the time of collection to maintain integrity.
• Utilize effective communication skills while interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Document and manage specimen information using the laboratory computer system.
• Participate in on-call duties, special projects, and cross-training as required.
• Complete performance evaluations and competency assessments timely.
