Position & Opportunity
The Plunge House® – Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Studio Manager to oversee sales and operations at our flagship location. The Studio Manager will not only manage day‑to‑day operations and lead sales growth but also work closely with the Founders on strategic development of brand infrastructure and scale plans across the country.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience or membership sales leading a team
- Ability to develop and execute sales training programs
- Work independently while collaborating with the Founders
- Results‑driven approach to achieving presale goals
- Urgency in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly KPI targets
- Assist in creating brand standards, operation manuals, and SOPs
- Build and sustain community & culture inside and outside the facility
- Develop and execute new member acquisition and retention plans
- Identify hiring needs and make hiring decisions based on business needs
- Execute company‑wide initiatives relevant to the facility
- Recognize team wins and create a culture of recognition
- Provide timely feedback and coaching to team members
- Oversee onboarding, training, and development of all new hires
- Be an expert on facility‑specific and company‑wide operational procedures and policies
- Demonstrate a solution‑oriented mindset and ability to execute within company standards in any situation
- Coach team on time‑management and prioritization of tasks / initiatives to meet deadlines
- Use discretionary judgment to ensure TPH® brand standards are followed and communicated with ROM
- Ensure facility‑level goals & operating budgets are achieved
- Perform monthly evaluations of direct reports and provide mentoring for improvement, including one‑on‑one performance review meetings
- Plan, attend, and help execute at least one community event per month to enhance sales team presence
- Strategize and execute a monthly marketing plan (B2B, guerilla marketing, community events, brand awareness, partnerships, sponsorships, etc.)
- Maintain facility cleanliness, operational soundness, and highest level of customer service
- Resolve conflicts effectively
- Engage and monitor internal communication
- Proficiency with computers and Studio software
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is a plus.
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of previous sales experience (highly preferred) and 2 years of management experience (highly preferred). Experience in the Health and Fitness Industry and Customer Service / Hospitality is preferred.
Soft Skills : Self‑motivated, driven sales professional with excellent communication and organization skills. Capable of delivering training presentations to small groups, basic computer skills (MS Office and other software), and compliance with TPH® Brand guidelines. Able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
