This contract role emphasizes forensic accounting, payroll review for audits, and detailed financial analyses to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Position Overview - Accounting & Compliance Consultant

As an Accounting & Compliance Consultant, you will investigate financial records, identify inconsistencies, and support audit activities. You'll work closely with property and finance teams to gather data, review payroll, and produce actionable insights that help maintain integrity across operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic accounting analyses to detect errors, inconsistencies, and potential fraud in financial records.
• Perform detailed payroll reviews for properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Review and analyze financial statements, general ledgers, and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
• Collaborate with property managers and finance teams to gather data, clarify findings, and make recommendations.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports and recommendations for management.
• Assist with special investigations and ad‑hoc financial reviews as needed.
