Job description :
- Easily commutable from most areas of northern or central Atlanta.
- Reports to : Vice President of Manufacturing
- Reports : 8 exempt employees including engineers and approximately 35 non-exempt employees
- Responsible for :
- Providing servant leadership, training, guidance, support and encouragement to manufacturing floor associates and reports
- Overseeing manufacturing processes, production ensuring optimal performance and highest quality standards.
- Ensure and maintain compliance with Environmental Health and Safety regulations
- Collaborating with internal and external parties such as vendors, customers, and auditors
- Lean implementation, organizational planning, improving process and production out-puts, plant operations, regulatory compliance and opporational excellence.
- Budgetary responsiblitlities
- Responsible for equipment maintenance and facilities.
Qualifications :
Outstanding coaching and mentoring skills, particularly in production manufacturing operations (please list on your resume with the TITLES of who report to you; not the names.)
Strong, honest, character
Relevant and recent manufacturing operations experience in all the areas listed in the job description, including supervisory and extrusion and / or coatings.
High attention to detail.
Demonstrated Lean implementation accomplishments.
Highly Personable.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident w / out the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
