To support its thriving clinical service, the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking a full-time Chief of Clinical Pathology .

We perform over 3 million tests annually and have a growing outreach program. Tufts Medical Center is an internationally respected, 400-bed, tertiary care academic medical center located in downtown Boston, adjacent to the Tufts University School of Medicine and a proud member of the Tufts Medicine Healthcare System
How youll transform patient care :
- Youll manage the professional, technical and administrative operations of the clinical laboratories while working with both the Chair and the Director of Clinical Operations
- Youll provide oversight of the clinical laboratories, which include chemistry, toxicology, mass spectrometry, immunology, hematology, coagulation, flow cytometry, microbiology, traditional blood banking, apheresis, molecular diagnostics, and HLA.
- Youll have ample opportunities and support for clinical, translational, and basic science research
- Youll qualify for an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine
