NOC Technician

A company is looking for a NOC Technician (Network Operations Center).

Key Responsibilities

Monitor the health and availability of network systems and provide shift support

Provide second-level technical support and document processes and incidents

Interact with customers to provide technical assistance and notifications regarding service impacts

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in a related field preferred

Intermediate knowledge of network topology and internet routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.)

Experience with VOIP technologies and basic router and switch operations

Ability to perform initial troubleshooting and technical analysis of issues

Experience working with switches and routers in a dynamic operations team
