This Sr. DevOps position will support hosting solutions for our clients. In this role, you will collaborate with web developers and the infrastructure team to create and manage build automation to support the deployment and file load processes.
You will be utilizing technology stacks within AWS and OCI. You must have experience with all of the following : Ansible playbooks, Jenkins, AWS, and strong Python development.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with development leads and the infrastructure team to design, build, document, and test solutions for data interchange and business process automation.
- Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible and Python
- Create Ansible playbooks for deployment, integrate them into CI / CD pipelines
- Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure on AWS and OCI.
- Enhance file manipulation and data processing engine using Python, YAML, and various AWS and OCI services.
- Manage deployment process during business and off-hours, oversee and enhance existing automated build process
- Develop technical documents to accurately represent the state of applications.
- Assist in process improvement and release management
Experience Required :
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Ansible Developer. Strong knowledge of Ansible playbook development and automation workflows is required.
- Proven experience with building automation tools, especially Jenkins
- Hands-on development experience in Python, and shell scripting with data and workflow management applications and file manipulations
- Software administration preferably on AWS or OCI, DevOps tooling.
- General IT knowledge (applications development, testing, deployment, continuous integration, git, documentation, standards, best practices, security, hardware, networking.)
- Oracle, SQL, and DB administration is a plus
- Ability to research and solve problems independently.
- Experience with change control management and issue tracking (Atlassian tool suite : JIRA, Confluence)
- Green Card or US Citizen requirement
