Patients served include various GYN conditions, GYN / Oncology, Obstetrical Complications, and Mother / Baby Couplets. Our medical / surgical population consists of various GYN surgical procedures, bariatric weight loss surgical procedures, colon resections and other minor colon surgeries, and general medical patients. Nurse to patient ratios is 1 : 5-6 and PCA to patient ratios 1 : 6-8. All staff work 12-hour shifts, 0630 to 1900 and 1830 to 0700, which includes alternating weekends and holidays.
