Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health by cultivating and maintaining ongoing customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. It provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity. It provides product service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships.

Responsibilities include overseeing assigned medical products and distribution customers as it pertains to supply chain health and general service needs, bridging relationships between the customer's supply chain team and internal Cardinal Health teams to ensure flawless service, supporting customer expectations and requirements through proactive account reviews, and regular engagement and review of key initiatives. It also involves preventing order disruption to customers through activities such as elimination of potential inventory issues, substitution maintenance, core list review, and product standardization and conversions. Additionally, it resolves open order issues by reviewing open order and exception reports, analyzing trends, and partnering with customers to take alternative actions as needed. It advocates for customers and partners across Cardinal Health servicing teams to bring rapid and effective resolution to customer's issues, requests, and initiatives. It tracks, measures, and reports key performance indicators monthly, identifies opportunities for process improvement and implements solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall performance, and builds and maintains long-term trusted relationships with customers to support retention and growth of the account.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, preferred, 2-4 years of professional experience; direct customer-facing experience, preferred, strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook), preferred, demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and highly motivated and able to work effectively within a team, preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to build solid relationships and deliver high-quality presentations are also preferred. Ability and willingness to travel occasionally, as business needs require is preferred.

What is expected of you and others at this level includes applying working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks, working on projects of moderate scope and complexity, identifying possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and taking actions to resolve, applying judgment within defined parameters, receiving general guidance may receive more detailed instruction on new projects, and work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy.

The anticipated salary range is $57,000.00 - $81,600.00.
