Manager, Medicare Commissions

Description and Requirements

The Commissions Manager will be responsible for the management of a team of Commission analysts and oversight of the entire commission operation for the external Medicare brokers as well as the internal captive Medicare agents. The oversight process includes the complete broker / agent journey consisting of onboarding, credentialing, appointment and the monthly commission payout process.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Has oversight of the entire broker appointment process to ensure proper completion of contracts and marketing agreements.
• Responsible for reviews of credentialing paperwork, confirmation of active licenses, and assignment of specific coding to be assigned to all new business for tracking and payment purposes.
• Advises the sales and marketing staff regarding producer problems and / or difficulties if outreach / education is required.
• Assists with hiring and training new staff members to their role within the commission team.
• Responsible for managing incoming producer issues from the Service Call Center via designated CRM.
• Responsible for reporting and tracking sales and commission payments to the Sales department.
• Communicates with internal and third-party software developers and assist in the workings of commission models and / or promotions to ensure programming provides accurate commission outputs.
• Creates and maintains key commission analyses monthly, quarterly & annually.
• Assists in policy and procedure updates in relation to commissions.
• Additional duties as necessary

Hiring Range

Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents) : $100,900 - $145,775

All Other Locations (within approved locations) : $86,500 - $128,690

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
