SmartTalent is looking to a hire a Warehouse Lead for logistics company in Kent, WA. Ideal candidate has strong hands-on outbound shipping and Lead experience (details below).

TITLE : Warehouse Lead

LOCATION : Kent, WA

SCHEDULE : Monday – Friday, 7am – 3 : 30pm

PAY : $23

Summary / Objective :

The Warehouse Lead – Outbound Shipping is responsible for managing and coordinating all outbound logistics operations, including order fulfillment, packing, shipping, and carrier coordination. This role ensures all processes are executed with accuracy, efficiency, and in alignment with company standards. The Lead will oversee a team of warehouse associates, providing direction, support, and leadership to maintain high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead Daily Shipping Operations
• Supervise, train, and motivate outbound shipping staff.
• Assign and monitor tasks to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Order Fulfillment & Accuracy
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, labeled, and shipped according to customer requirements. Able handle high volumes of shipping
• Conduct quality checks to reduce shipping errors and returns.
• Logistics & Carrier Coordination
• Coordinate daily pickups with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight, etc.).
• Monitor shipping schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Resolve shipping issues and communicate with customers via email daily
• Process & Compliance
• Maintain compliance with company shipping policies and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory flow to ensure outbound accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
• Ensure packaging meets brand and retail partner compliance requirements.
• Leadership & Reporting
• Lead by example with a focus on safety, productivity, and teamwork.
• Track and report outbound performance metrics (accuracy, timeliness, costs).
• Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency.
