ABOUT THE ROLE

As we continue to look for more sustainable ways to build, we need world-class talent to join our team. We are seeking a Construction Materials Lab Intern for Summer 2026 who is passionate about sustainability, driven by curiosity and keen to grow, learn, develop and thrive in our high-performance culture. This opportunity will be a 10-week, paid internship beginning May 27th, 2026.

This internship will be based at our site in Ste. Genevieve cement plant in Bloomsdale, MO.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Lab activities :

• Gain insights into the vital role of our laboratory in ensuring product quality through internal testing, customer testing, and research initiatives.
• Participate in the Company's Competitive Cement Testing Program to grasp its value and significance within the industry, including analyzing customer concerns through case studies and shadowing local Technical Service Engineers.
• Gain hands-on experience with calorimetry testing, sulfate resistance testing, alkali-silica reactivity testing, evaluation of potential Supplementary Cementitious Materials (SCMs), and aggregate evaluation.
