PACE is seeking an experienced Technical Writer who will be responsible for writing new documents, as well as providing necessary editing and formatting to existing documents. Supports engineering and marketing groups with editing and writing technical memorandums, reports, proposal materials, project descriptions, marketing copy, internal communication material, and presentations.

Responsibilities / tasks

• Implement company standards regarding structure, clarity, consistency, style and terminology on all written documentation. Organize and complete all materials according to those standards.
• Interface with all departments and review submitted materials, revise formatting and edit accordingly to ensure the document maintains professional quality and company standards.
• Perform technical writing as needed and provide advanced technical editing and formatting.
• Interpret scientific documentation so the average reader can understand the content.
• Write business letters, and copy for reports and marketing materials such as brochures, articles, social media and proposals, as directed.
• Serve as a general resource for the communication needs of the company, offering writing assistance.
• Edit and prepare presentations.
• Create and incorporate graphics into documents using Excel and other programs.

Work experience requirements

Physical Demands :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands, handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift and / or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; vision is very helpful. Occasional field work may be required and includes walking through uneven, rugged terrain, requiring good balance, ability to walk moderate to long distances, and good general vision and depth of field vision.

Work Environment :

The noise level in the office work environment is moderate. May be required to work in external environment in all weather conditions. Driving to offsite locations for project meetings, job site visits, etc. may be required. Therefore, candidate must maintain reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance while employed with PACE.

Salary :

$70,000-$100,00 (Annual depending on experience and role)
