Grass Valley is looking for an experienced Video / Broadcast Engineer to work embedded at one of our major global broadcast customers.

The following job description is provided by our customer to describe the person they are looking for.

This position will report on a day-to-day basis to the Engineering department of our customer, whose identity will be disclosed during the interview process.

Primary Responsibilities

This position is responsible for Research, Design, Documentation, Installation, Commissioning and Test of virtualized compressed IP-based video origination and distribution systems, along with related sub-systems for linear and streaming delivery via satellite and terrestrial fiber.

• Responsible for end-to-end fulfillment of assigned projects and tasks, including installation, configuration and commissioning of video equipment and software applications.
• Coordinates in-house and third-party resources to fulfill system integration tasks for documentation, fabrication and installation.
• Collaborates with in-house technical support teams to perform system acceptance testing and training.
