Description :

This position requires a registered nurse specializing in pediatric intensive care.

Nurses will float between units as needed.

This role does not require on-call shifts.

Weekend shifts are variable and will be a requirement.

Block scheduling is needed.

Expected patient ratios are 1 : 2-3.

Special requirements include care of ventilated patients, management of dysrhythmias, and interpretation of arterial blood gases.

Nurses must be experienced with BiPAP / CPAP and central line care among other critical skills.

Additional duties may involve ECMO and ICP monitoring.

Nurses will work in a children’s facility that serves pediatric trauma cases.

Expectations include the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Flexibility regarding scheduling and time off requests is necessary.
