Collections Specialist (Contract) – Conshohocken, PA
Location : Fully onsite in Conshohocken, PA
Duration : 3–6 month contract

Pay Rate : $30–$35 / hr.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Collections Specialist to lead a major account clean-up project for a dynamic services company. This role requires strong research skills and the ability to catch up on overdue accounts efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
Conduct extensive research to identify and resolve outstanding balances
Contact clients via phone and email to follow up on overdue invoices
Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer interactions
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies
Prepare aging reports and escalate issues as needed
Achieve weekly and monthly collection targets
Qualifications
Clean-up experience is a must (handling large volumes of overdue accounts)
1+ year of experience in collections or accounts receivable
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
