Responsibilities

• RN / LPN adheres to the Resident Bill of Rights and promotes dignity and respect among all residents
• RN / LPN reports any resident problems or illness requiring attention of the AL Manager
• RN / LPN ensures safety of residents through appropriate behavioral interventions
• RN / LPN ensures that facility staff follow facility policies and procedures.
• RN / LPN ensures appropriate and timely response to customer service concerns
• RN / LPN demonstrates knowledge of resident care and its impact on residents and families
• RN / LPN assists resident care staff in performing duties as needed.
• RN / LPN assists with incident reporting and analysis of incidents and corrective action, when appropriate
• RN / LPN maintains confidentiality of facility and resident information.
• Responsible for the safety of residents under your supervision.
• Know the emergency plan, fire evacuation routes, extinguishers and other facility safety features
• RN / LPN conducts cart and chart audits
• RN / LPN takes verbal orders from Doctors
• RN / LPN completes incident reports for any incident, accident or unusual occurrence to any resident, associate or visitor
• Observes infection control procedures and properly correct if needed
• Maintains confidentiality of members' PHI (Protected Health Information) and medical records information as well. This position is classified as a level 4 in the ePhi Access Group levels
• This position is considered to be an essential role and the incumbent is required to work during emergency situations including natural disasters
• Complete other duties as assigned
