Ultrasound Technologist Full Time Nights Position Summary
\n
The position exists to provide ultrasound examinations for patients of all ages. Ultrasonographers provide patient care services using ultrasound imaging modalities. This includes assessing patient condition, operating ultrasound equipment, proficiency in PACS, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies and medications. Ultrasonographers are also required to maintain necessary patient records and participate in the departmental Performance Improvement program. Ultrasonographers also function as clinical instructors for students enrolled in the Radiologic Technology and ultrasound programs. Night and weekend call is required.

THE ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST FULL TIME NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education / Other Qualifications :

Minimum Education : Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
\n
Minimum Experience : 1 to 2 years of job-related experience is preferred.
\n
Required Certifications / Registrations / Licenses : Must have a working knowledge of ultrasound procedures achieved through advanced training. RDMS with a minimum of one modality within the first year of employment. RVT certification is preferred. American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.
