Job description

HouseSmart Construction Installer I

Are you looking for a hands-on, outdoor position? If so, this might be the role for you! We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude that wants to learn and grow in the construction industry! What You'll Be Doing :

  • Helping with the setup of all manufactured homes by...
  • Working as a team player by helping the Crew Chief and team
  • Removing protective shipping wrap from home our team will show you the best ways to do this
  • Removing and properly storing exterior use items like shingles under the leadership of our experienced team members
  • Working with the team to help remove tires, axles, and tongues which can weigh up to 50 lbs.
  • Traveling to each home site and assisting the team with necessary construction activities
  • Loading and unloading materials, and keeping the tools & trucks organized
  • Helping installer vapor barriers beneath the home
  • Gathering materials for beginning piers and helping build them
  • Performing masonry work underneath the homes

When You'll Be Doing It :

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday

    • Pay :

  • $15.00 - $16.50 an hour (depends on experience)
  • Paid weekly

  • You have the ability to climb ladders, crawl underneath homes and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • You have a positive attitude and always work to be a team player.
  • You are comfortable with the use of hand / power tools such as hammers, levels, drills and an impact wrench.
