Job Description :
A leading entertainment company's Ad Sales Revenue Management division is seeking a Linear Sales Planner to join our dynamic Planning team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a results-based, high-energy sales environment where you''ll make a direct impact on business operations.
Responsibilities
- Support dedicated books of business across multiple entertainment brands and verticals
- Manage the complete RFP process from initial proposal through order entry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client solutions
- Build and maintain impactful relationships both internally and externally
- Contribute to operational efficiencies and process improvements
- Support dedicated book(s) of business, managing the RFP process from proposal generation to order entry across assigned brands and business verticals
- Partner internally with Sales and Revenue Management to implement packaging and pricing strategy per established rate cards and guidelines
- Maintain client pipeline in collaboration with the Sales team
- Execute budget revisions including incremental spend, optimizations, makegoods, and cancellations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Ad Ops, Inventory Analytics, Streaming Solutions, and Measurement Solutions to fulfill client requests and support Sales proposalsPartner with Ad Ops team to execute campaigns, maximize delivery against contracted goals, and address client reporting needsWork with Finance team to assist with billing processesCommunicate effectively with agency contacts to address RFP deliverables and ad hoc requestsProcess Improvement & Client Support
Identify areas for improvement within the pre-sale process and recommend solutions to drive operational efficienciesAssist in preparation and follow-up for client meetings, including review of industry and account-specific informationAddress client reporting needs and campaign delivery optimizationRequired Qualifications
2+ years professional experience; linear sales planning and / or media buying experience strongly preferredExcitement to work in a collaborative Ad Sales team environmentPositive demeanor and approach when handling day-to-day tasksStrong problem-solving abilities and multi-tasking skillsExceptional attention to detail and robust organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Suite, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills requiredEager-to-learn attitude with drive to take on new responsibilitiesMedia math and terminology knowledge advantageousPreferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Operative One platformKnowledge of television landscape and industry trendsAgency background in media planning or buyingSeniority level
