Job Summary
Work with cash room staff and finance management to communicate and resolve issues related to Market cash collections.
Review market inventory reports daily and investigate anomalies, over / short issues, and any other inventory-related concerns.
Collaborate with operations team to communicate and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
Manage the weekly close process for Markets.
Resolve daily and weekly closing errors.
Partner with corporate IT and internal staff to resolve system errors efficiently.
Co-manage Market equipment inventory in the system for the entire district.
Enter new equipment into the Market system and allocate to appropriate Markets.
Remove equipment from the system as applicable and report monthly removals to the Finance Team for disposal.
Lead weekly pre-close meetings to review and investigate inventory concerns, over / short issues, and cash collection discrepancies.
Prepare and distribute final close reports after each week is closed.
Enter weekly Purchase Orders (POs) and Meals&Entertainment (M&E) entries.
Prepare Kitchen Fresh and MG Foods reports and distribute to keyers weekly.
Prepare and email the Weekly Ave C report showing spoilage and waste percentages.
Prepare and send weekly negative inventory reports.
Assist the Operations team with Market price book updates.
Support general administrative and accounting tasks as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred (Accounting or Finance strongly preferred).
Minimum of two years of Accounting or Bookkeeping experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
Prior experience with inventory data entry and reconciliation preferred.
Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative team player.
Working knowledge of SAP Financials and / or Microsoft Access preferred.
Experience with account reconciliation software a plus.
