LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

LOCATION : Missoula, MT

JOB TYPE : Full-Time Permanent

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a collaborative primary care team supporting an established panel of senior patients. Working alongside a Nurse Practitioner and reporting to the Clinic Manager, this role focuses on delivering exceptional, coordinated, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, hands-on clinical care and patient support.
  • Partner with the Nurse Practitioner to manage and engage patient panels.
  • Serve as a patient advocate, helping navigate healthcare resources and care plans.
  • Perform pre-visit prep, patient rooming, vital signs, screenings, and documentation.
  • Administer vaccinations and assist with diagnostic procedures (e.g., EKGs, spirometry, ABI).
  • Conduct phlebotomy, process lab specimens, and maintain accurate records.
  • Support post-visit activities, including referrals, follow-ups, and medication refills.
  • Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient clinic flow and an outstanding patient experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of an accredited LPN program; active LPN license required
  • 2+ years of LPN experience (primary care preferred)
  • 1+ year of phlebotomy experience
  • BLS certification (preferred, AHA-endorsed)
  • Lab experience a plus
