Cameron Welding Supply, Southern California's provider for new and used welding equipment, gas equipment, industrial gases, and gases, is seeking a Lead Dispatcher to join their team in Stanton, CA.

If you have at least 3 years of transportation dispatching experience, as well as managerial/leadership experience, Cameron Welding Supply wants to hear from you!

Essential duties/responsibilities:

Dispatches all trucks in the Stanton branch by using dispatch program and creates load lists to ensure accurate and timely delivery of all scheduled deliveries daily; and communicating concisely with drivers about the daily routes, tracks drivers' progress and helps resolve any issues they may have during the course of business daily.

Works with customer service and production to meet or exceed our customers' expectations.

Provide administrative support by ensuring accurate shipping documents, before and after delivery, making sure documents are billed daily.

Ability to interpret and understand DOT and internal compliance policies and procedures and relay them to others.

Provides department support by debriefing drivers on the paperwork, any issues, customer feedback, and accurate product and cylinder movement.

Provides administrative support by maintaining manifests and vehicles, maintain files in an organized fashion complying with local, state and federal agencies.

Communicates with transportation vendors to ensure safe trucks, immediate resolutions for obstacles along the way, to keep Company fleet delivering at an optimum level.

Communicates with other Cameron departments to provide product is produced when needed to insure product availability and any quality issues.

Performs additional duties as required.
