Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center (NWMRMC) is seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As an ICU Registered Nurse , you will provide comprehensive, specialized care to patients with life-threatening conditions. You will assess, monitor, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition while ensuring dignity, compassion, and clear communication at every step of the care journey.

Requirements : Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert-level nursing care to critically ill adult patients.
  • Monitor and interpret vital signs and complex clinical data (e.g., cardiac rhythms, ventilator settings).
  • Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform procedures within RN scope.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare team members.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and responses in the EMR accurately and promptly.
  • Respond to emergency situations with speed and precision, including code blue events.
  • Provide support and education to patients and families in high-stress situations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

  • Education : Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required).
  • Licensure : Current Mississippi RN Licensure or Compact Licensure in good standing.
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS required; CCRN preferred (or encouraged after hire)
  • Experience : Minimum of 1 year of ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
