EMI Services is Hiring a Wastewater Collections General Maintenance Worker to maintain and repair wastewater and stormwater assets such as storm drains, wastewater / stormwater lines, and lift and pump stations. Work is performed under regular supervision on military installations.
Salary
$23.40 - $34.00 / hr. depending on experience and certifications plus $4.93 fringe benefits used towards insurance and 401K!

Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, monitoring, and repair of sewer and storm water systems including pipes, manholes, catch basins, and lift stationsPerform inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of sewer lines, lift stations, pumps, manholes, and alarmsPerform inspections cleaning, maintenance of stormwater catch-basins, culverts, lift stations, drains, and pipesPerform detailed reports of completed inspections, cleaning, and repairsClear blockages of sewer and storm water linesPerform in a standby (on-call) status and work during wet weatherAbide by general safety practices while conducting daily work, including wearing personal protective equipment such as eye / face protective gear, ear protection, gloves, steel-toe boots, and other mission specific equipment as required based on the tasksPerforms additional duties as assignedEssential Skills
Basic knowledge of plumbing for sewer and stormwater systemsBasic knowledge of hand and power tools used for plumbing repairBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to communicate and create documents for job executionProficiency in English is required to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors as part of the core responsibilities of this positionRequirements
High school diploma or equivalent5+ years wastewater collections experience to include pumps and lift stationsCA Wastewater IValid driver’s license compliant with REAL ID Act or are you willing and able to obtain onePass a pre-employment drug screening and background check to obtain base accessReliable : wants to be part of a teamU.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installationsPreferred Qualifications
Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)OSHA 30 hourPhysical Requirements
