Role and Responsibilities
- Adhere to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures
- Ensure the proper functioning and safe operations of all warehouse tools and equipment
- Drive specific initiatives that have proven business results
- Accurately, quickly, and clearly answer questions related to your area of focus
- Responsible for working with to pull together all necessary equipment, tools, materials, supplies, HSE materials, PPE, etc. for all turnarounds, projects, maintenance jobs etc.
- Responsible for responding / delegating responsibility to constant unplanned needs of projects teams in office and field to support ongoing planned and unplanned / emergency jobs
- Responsible for inspecting, servicing / procuring service, maintaining Thorpe owned field equipment.
- From time to time responsible for pick and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies to jobsites, supplier sites, vendor sites, etc.
- Responsible for planning and logistics related to warehouse support of jobsites and shop activities
- Responsible for planning maintenance and repair of company fleet trucks
- Responsible for facility, facility equipment, and tooling maintenance and repair
- Monitor / maintains various inventory items
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of applicable industrial construction industry experience in warehouseAbility to effectively manage time and resolve crisesLight use of Microsoft OfficeExcellent Communication skillsStrong customer orientationDemonstrated ability to produce results through othersProblem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional levelTechnical skills in engineering management, quality assurance and costingPhysical Requirements
Occasionally required to do some or all of the following : stand; walk; climb tall ladders; sit; talk; hear; use hands to handle or control objects; reach with armsEmployees must occasionally lift and / or move up to 55 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
