Description
Basic Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and manage IT projects, as necessary, to provide business solutions that support the strategic objectives defined by steering committee.
- Collaborate with other ITC departments in providing solutions to facilitate improved efficiencies related to technology, wherever possible.
- Research and suggest enhancements in all areas of IT responsibility to meet changing business needs, and to improve system availability and reliability.
- Communicate relevant IT related information to the senior management steering committee, participate in management planning meetings, and respond and act on senior management direction.
- Coordinate and supervise IT support initiatives for core business applications, network infrastructure, and telephone equipment.
- Manage all IT help desk related activities and prioritize the workload of an internal and external team of network administrators and business systems analysts.
- Interact with internal and external customers, at all levels, to help resolve IT related issues in a timely manner.
- Oversee daily user support and troubleshooting associated with JD Edwards OneWorld / EnterpriseOne and additional business application software systems.
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including network security, and assist in the planning and implementation of major modifications to the infrastructure.
- Oversee the maintenance of data backup systems, archiving, and disaster recovery.
- Develop and maintain all IT related policies and procedures.
- Oversee all changes and upgrades to the ITC telephone equipment.
- Manage the purchase of all software, hardware, and other IT related supplies and services.
- Maintain effective communication with the user community and serve as the main point of contact on all IT related matters.
- Oversees SOX compliance for IT related activities
