Essential Job Responsibilities

• Handle, wash/dry and fold resident laundry and linens & return to promptly to owner.
• Ensures that resident personal clothing is properly identified and labeled properly.
• Cleans and disinfects dirty lavatories, beds, chairs, and equipment.
• Sweeps and mops resident rooms; cleans all rooms as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of previous experience in environmental services is preferred.
• Knowledge of and use of cleaning devices and washer/dryer equipment.

Other Qualifications

• Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
• Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
• Participate in pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screening.
