As an Allied Universal Security Officer assigned to an access control post within a financial institution location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, deliver excellent customer service, and respond to situations in a professional and composed manner. What You'll Do : Monitor and control access at designated entry points to help to deter unauthorized entry within the financial institution location. Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises, maintaining detailed access logs as required. Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with access-related inquiries and directions. Follow site-specific security-related procedures, including response protocols for emergencies and / or incidents. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as necessary. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Communicate with Allied Universal management and client contacts regarding security-related matters and / or incidents. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards to the appropriate contact as directed by site procedures. Minimum Requirements : Have a combined minimum of three years of law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
