Job descriptionWork night shifts Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM Weekend and holiday coverage required per unit requirements Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs Required certifications : BLS, ARRT Radiography, ARRT Computed Tomography Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required Less than 1 year experience in CT preferred Certificate in Radiologic Technology required Perform CT scans and imaging procedures according to department protocols Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical histories Position patients appropriately and operate CT equipment safely Administer contrast media following established procedures Review CT images for clinically acceptable results Maintain competency with venipuncture and power injection operation Respond to emergency situations and assist with life support equipment Ensure proper patient identification using 2 unique identifiers Maintain equipment cleanliness and infection control standards Complete all studies in RIS and send to PACS immediately after completion Take call when necessary Excellent communication skills required for interaction with physicians, patients, and staff Must function independently under pressure while participating in team environment Detail-oriented with ability to multitask effectively throughout work shift Referral bonus
