About The Position

Job Details :

Specialty : Radiology – Mammography Specialist with General Dx & Light IR Responsibilities / Fluoroscopy Supervision

• Shifts : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

ration : Temporary coverage through 2025

Responsibilities :

Perform and interpret breast imaging procedures : 3D mammography, digital mammography, breast ultrasounds

Conduct stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies

Supervise and assist in fluoroscopy procedures (3–4 / day)

Conduct routine diagnostic imaging exams : X-rays, CTs, MRIs

Perform light interventional procedures (5–6 / day) such as :

Image-guided biopsies

Drainages

Kyphoplasty

PICC line placements

Paracentesis and thoracentesis

Note : This is not a full IR position. No IR call required.

Job Requirements

Board Certified Radiologist – REQUIRED

Active North Carolina Medical License & DEA – REQUIRED (verbal confirmation at name clear)

CDS Certification – REQUIRED

BLS / ACLS – REQUIRED

Clean files / no disciplinary actions
